Trinity Medical is a 23 bed critical access hospital located in Ferriday, Louisiana.
The hospital is operated by Concordia Parish Hospital Service District No.1.
Trinity Medical is the replacement facility for Riverland Medical Center. Riverland Medical Center opened in 1964 as Concordia Parish Hospital and has continuously served the residents of the area for more than 55 years. We look forward to providing excellent medical care to our community for many years to come.

Beginning Monday, April 4, 2022, Trinity Medical will expand visitation to the following:
Visiting Guidelines:
Visiting hours are from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm
Non-COVID patients may have 2 visitors (must be at least 18 years of age).
All visitors must pass the screening process and wear a mask for the duration of stay.
All visitors are encouraged to remain in the patient’s room.
No visitors allowed for COVID Positive patients in the ICU and Emergency Room departments.
End-of-life visitation is allowed and handled on a case-by-case basis.

DRUG TAKE BACK PROGRAM

Trinity Medical is proud to provide the community with a safe place to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications and patches, over-the-counter medications, ointments and vitamins. A kiosk is set up inside the main entrance of the hospital. No appointment is needed, simply bring your medications and drop them inside the kiosk.

Covid-19 SELF SCREENING KIOSK

Visitors are now required to self screen upon entering the building. Covid-19 Self Screening Kiosks have been installed at the main entrance and in ER admissions waiting. Simply touch the screen to begin and follow directions. Upon completion of screening the kiosk will print a label that you are required to wear to enter the building. Policy Guidelines for Masking
Effective 9/1/2022
Trinity Medical has low incidents of admissions and Emergency Room visits for severe illness from COVID-19. This along with the availability and effectiveness of vaccines and booster injections, Trinity Medical will encourage the use of masks, but will no longer require that masks be worn for our patients, visitors, and employees.
Masks are no longer required in public spaces including reception, administrative areas, hallways, and the cafeteria.
All screening guidelines will remain in place and protocol followed for any patient, visitor, or employee presenting with COVID-19 related symptoms.
NOTE: The following exceptions do apply:
*If the patient, visitor, and employee wish to wear a mask they are encouraged to do so.
*Masks will still be required for all patient encounters, entering a patient room or while performing direct patient care. This includes inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings.
*Masks will still be required in patient care areas when patients present with respiratory illness, COVID-
19 illness, or as required based on assigned isolation precautions. This is applicable to all areas of the hospital and clinics.
*If the patient or visitor requests the employee to wear a mask in their presence, employees should honor that request.
*Masks will be required for dietary employees assigned on the serving line.
